A unique chance to see Orford Ness at sunrise and sunset.
Join this overnight workshop which will focus on using colour to engage with the fleeting light of sunrise and sunset on the Ness. Drawing and painting quickly with watercolour, ink and pastels from the Bomb Ballistics building rooftop as an observation point at first and last light. We will respond to the changes of hue, texture and opacity over land, sky and sea looking West as the sun sets and East as the sun rises.
This workshop will include overnight accommodation on the Ness. In the evening we will discuss the work of experimental artists such as Tacita Dean, Stan Brackage, Nancy Holt and Robert Smithson.
